WhatSize is built with privacy as the foundation. We believe your shopping habits, clothing sizes, and personal data should remain private.

Simple answer: We collect ZERO data. We don't know who you are, what you buy, or what size you wear.

Data Collection

What We DON'T Collect:

• ❌ No account creation required
• ❌ No analytics or tracking SDKs
• ❌ No usage statistics
• ❌ No advertising identifiers
• ❌ No location tracking
• ❌ No behavioral data
• ❌ No crash reports with personal data

Data Storage

All data you create in WhatSize (your saved clothing items in "My Closet") is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

What's Stored Locally:

• ✓ Your saved clothing items (brand, size, category)
• ✓ Your app preferences (language, measurement units, appearance)
• ✓ Size chart data (bundled with the app, not transmitted)

This data never leaves your device unless you choose to back it up via iCloud.

iCloud Backup (Optional)

If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, iOS may automatically back up your WhatSize data as part of your system backup. This is controlled by your iOS settings, not by our app.

Your iCloud data is encrypted and only accessible to you via your Apple ID. We have no access to your iCloud backups.

Third-Party Services

WhatSize does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app is entirely self-contained.

Website Analytics (This Website Only)

Important: The WhatSize iOS app collects ZERO data. This section applies only to our marketing website (whatsize.online).

To improve this website's user experience, we use Vercel Web Analytics on whatsize.online. This is a privacy-respecting analytics service that:

• ✓ No cookies: Does not use cookies or local storage
• ✓ No personal data: Does not collect IP addresses, user agents, or device identifiers
• ✓ GDPR compliant: Fully compliant with EU data protection regulations
• ✓ Anonymous only: Collects only anonymous page views and basic traffic metrics
• ✓ No cross-site tracking: Does not track you across other websites

What we see: Number of page views, which pages are visited, and general geographic region (country-level only, no city or precise location).

What we DON'T see: Your identity, device information, browsing history, or any personal data.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect any data about you, there's nothing for us to delete, export, or modify. However, you have full control over your local data:

• ✓ Delete all saved items via Settings → Clear Data
• ✓ Delete the app to remove all data from your device
• ✓ Disable iCloud Backup for WhatSize in iOS Settings

Payment Information

WhatSize is a paid app ($1.99 one-time purchase) processed through Apple's App Store. We never see or store your payment information. All transactions are handled by Apple according to their Privacy Policy (opens in new tab).

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices (which would only happen if we add optional features), we will update this policy and notify users through an app update with release notes.
